今年(2009)寫作TASK 1 常出柱狀圖, 目前救老師我知, 已出三次為 multigraphs.一般來說同學只要把握寫此類圖表的原則, 包含考官要看到的重點與正確的陳述架構, 再加強表達方式, 分數應不差. 表達方式要靠多練, 多記, 別無他法. 因為每張圖講的主題不一樣, 從交通到溫室氣體, 你寫的東西若考官看不懂, 寫了一堆, 就算勉強湊150字, 老實說, 也是枉然.你最後還是得到失望的分數.
至於task 2 考題大致仍承襲以往的慣例, 以教育為重, 接下來是媒體, 以及科技環境, 同學在準備時可從這類考題下功夫. 某些題目是自2004年以來就眼熟的[類別], 但題目有修改, 以下為今年前半年的部分task 2考題,給同學做參考:

1. People can now live and work anywhere because of improved communication technology and transport. To what extent do you think its advantages outweigh its disadvantages? (technology-communication and transport 考古題改寫)

2. Rich countries often give financial aid to poor countries, but it does not solve the poverty, so some people think that rich countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than the financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree? (government-[富國與窮國金援問題]考古題改寫)

3. Some think that environmental problems are too big for individuals to solve, while others think the problems cannot solve unless individuals take some action.Discuss both views and give your opinion. (environment-考古題:考題幾乎沒做改變)

4. Newspapers have a big influence on people's ideas and opinions. Why is it? To what extent do you think it is positive or negative?

5. If the product is of good quality and meets people’s needs, people will buy it. Therefore, advertising is unnecessary and is no more than a type of entertainment. To what extent do you agree or disagree? (media-advertising 考古題改寫）

6. Some people think computer and Internet are important in children's study, but others think students can learn more effectively in schools and with teachers. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.(education/Internet-又是[網路與真人教學]換湯不換藥題）

7. Some people think museums should be enjoyable places to attract and entertain young people.　Other think the purpose of museums is to educate, not to entertain. Discuss both views and give your own opinion. (culture-museum考古題重點改寫)
